As a theatre maker and drama practitioner, I specialise in small-scale touring productions, journey-based performance and large-scale community productions. I also use process drama and interactive story making for education. I have twenty year’s experience of making performance and am Co-Artistic Director of Suitcase and Spectacles Children’s Theatre Company. I’ve worked in partnership with Harrogate Theatre, The Carriageworks Leeds, Doncaster Community Arts, Bradford’s Theatre in the Mill, Leeds Minster, Left Bank Leeds and many others. My current drama work includes a two-year project, Empowering Children’s Voices, with the Story Makers Company. The project works across eight schools in Bradford. It aims to build children’s oracy and communication skills through drama. The project supports teachers and artists to integrate creative learning across the curriculum.
